The Monte-Carlo Polo Team and Rommy Gianni crowned world ice polo champions at the Snow Polo World Cup in St Moritz
Rommy Gianni, captain of the Monte-Carlo Polo Team, the official polo team of the Principality of Monaco wins for the second time the title of World Champion of Polo on Ice by leading his team to the victory of the Snow Polo World Cup of St Morritz.
For this 33 th edition, the Monte Carlo Polo Team, always in red and white, ran to the colors of jeweler Cartier.
Rompy Gianni (captain, polo n ° 1, black helmet), Charlie Wooldridge (n ° 2), Chris Hyde (n ° 3) and Dario Musso (n ° 4) offered great sport to the 15.000 people who came to attend the 3 Days of the tournament.
Under a radiant sun and a perfect ice, the Monegasque team has chained the victories. First on the Perrier-Jouet team led by the Swiss Fabio Meier, then on the Maserati team and its captain James Bey supported by the crowd.
